So, hopefully you now have a working game, the next step is to put it all back together again. Things to remember:

1- Make sure you put all the buttons, springs, switches, etc back in. For some reason I've found myself on more than one occasion looking a completely re-assembled game, and a fire button sitting on the table...

2- While putting the main board back in, and any other parts, make sure all wires are out of the way, and not being pinched against something. This can actually cut the wire, and you get to start all over. Few things are as annoying as having a perfectly good, working game when it's in pieces only to find it won't work now that you have it all back together. (Sometimes it's a good idea to re-test the game during the process of re-assembly, just to make sure.)

3- Be CAREFUL with the screws. I'll be putting an entire page up about screw care, it's that important. Basically, they should almost thread themselves back into their holes, and you should just BARELY tighten them past the point at which they stop. It's very easy to strip out a screw hole, and be especially careful if you suspect anyone else has ever opened the game, that usually just makes things worse. (While the game is open, inspect the screw holes for damage, the columns they are usually made out of can split apart of tightened too much.) (Oh yeah, try not to forget any, either...) Also, watch the length of them, a screw that's too long might start coming out through the front of your game depending on where it is. That's an almost horrifying thing to see if you are doing it to a particularly rare game...
