Mattel's Masters of the Universe (1982, LCD, 2 LR44's, Model# 4612)
This is one of Mattel's small handheld LCD games (similar to the Nintendo Game & Watch games). (Looks to have been originally made by Bandai). It was originally packaged with 4 stickers and over $25 in coupons for food, entertainment, lodging, etc. (Anyone know the exact details of the coupons?) There is also a rarer version without the background as seen in the bottom picture. (Game play is essentially exactly the same as Dungeons and Dragons, just a different LCD.)
I'm guessing the one without the background was probably the first release of
this game. The image of the castle behind the LCD is missing and there's also
a printing variation on the label around the buttons (notice that the one that
has the castle has the background image cleared away where the writing is so
it's easier to read). This can help determine a real first version (becuase
you can simply remove the piece of plastic with the castle image if you want
to, but you can't change the printing on this label.):
Do I have this? Yes, loose.
